Our Founder
Born in 1915, Carmen Vidal trained in nursing, physiotherapy and chemistry. The beauty secrets learned in Algeria during her childhood and the cosmetic techniques and savoir faire acquired in Paris led to the birth of Germaine de Capuccini in 1964. She named the company after the French name of Germaine and Capucine, who was a well-known French actress and model in 1960s.
